Baked Almond Custard

Makes six servings
3 large eggs
1½ cups reduced fat milk
1 cup evaporated fat-free milk
½ cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon pure almond extract
6 teaspoons finely chopped or slivered almonds
Preheat oven to 325°F. Add first five ingredients to jar of Cuisinart® SmartPower®
7-Speed Electronic Blende r (everything but al monds). Place cover on jar. Turn
blender on and blend on Mix until combine d, about 10 seconds. Turn ble nder off.
Divide mixture among six 6-ounce ramek ins or custard cups, filling each about ¾
full. Top each with 1 teaspoo n almonds. Place rame kins in a 9x13 inch baking dish,
and add hot water to reac h 1 inch up the side s of the ramekins. Ba ke until a knife
inserted in the cente r comes out clean, a bout 1 hour. Remove rameki ns from water
bath, and cool on a wir e rack. Cover and chil l in the refrigerator before serving.

We warrant that your Cuisinar t® SmartPower® 7-Speed Electronic Blender
will be free of defects in materials and workmanship under normal home
use for 3 years from the date of original purchase.
We recommend that you visit our website, www.cuisinart.com for a fast,
efficient way to complete you r product registration. However, product regis-
tration does not eliminate the need for the consumer to maintain the original
proof of purchase in orde r to obtain the warranty b enefits. In the event that
you do not have proof of purch ase date, the purchase date fo r purposes of
this warranty will be the date of manufacture.
If your Cuisinart® SmartPower® 7-Speed Electronic Blender should prove to
