45 Replacing the I/O Board

Procedure

1Slide the power-port cable and power-supply light cable through the slot on the I/O-board bracket.

2Place the I/O board in the I/O-board bracket and press the securing tabs to secure the I/O board to the I/O-board bracket.

3Route the TV-in port cable, infrared-emitter port cable, and the power-supply light cable through their routing guides and connect the cables to the system board.

4Connect the power-port cable to the power-supply unit.

5Align the screw holes on the I/O-board assembly with the screw holes on the computer base.

6Press down on the I/O-boardassembly to connect the I/O board to the system board.

NOTE: Ensure that no cables are placed under the I/O-board assembly.

7Replace the screws that secure the I/O-board assembly to the computer base.
