9Replacing the Optical Drive

Procedure

1Align the screw holes on the optical-drive brackets with the screw holes on the optical drive and replace the screws that secure the optical-drive brackets to the optical drive.

2Connect the power and data-cable connector to the optical-drive assembly.

3Align the screw holes on the optical-drive assembly with the screw holes on the computer base.

4Replace the screws that secure the optical-drive assembly to the computer base.
