60 Removing the Display Panel

Prerequisites

1Remove the back cover. See "Removing the Back Cover" on page 19.

2Remove the stand. See "Removing the Stand" on page 47.

3Remove the system-board shield. See "Removing the System-Board Shield" on page 31.

4Remove the trim cover. See "Removing the Trim Cover" on page 87.

5Remove the processor heat-sink fan. See "Removing the Processor Heat-Sink Fan" on page 75.

6Remove the inner frame. See "Removing the Inner Frame" on page 95.

Procedure

1Disconnect the power-button cable from the system board and remove the power-button cable from its routing guides.

2Disconnect the speaker cable from the system board and remove the speaker cable from its routing guides.

3Disconnect the antenna cables from the wireless mini-card and remove the antenna cables from their routing guides.

4Disconnect the camera and infrared-module cables from the system board and remove the cables from their routing guides.

5Disconnect the display-power, touchscreen, and LVDS cables from the system board.
