32 Removing the Processor Heat-Sink Fan

Prerequisites

1Remove the back cover. See "Removing the Back Cover" on page 19.

2Remove the system-board shield. See "Removing the System-Board Shield" on page 31.

Procedure

1Disconnect the processor heat-sink fan cable from the system board.

2Remove the screws that secure the processor heat-sink fan to the computer base.

3Lift the processor heat-sink fan off the computer base.
