1 scribe 2 coin-cell battery

5Remove the battery from the compartment on the system board by using a scribe or small screwdriver to lift one side of the battery at the notch in the plastic connector, being careful not to break the plastic.

6Grasp the battery and pull it out of the battery compartment.

7To install the coin-cell battery:

a Insert the edge of the coin-cell battery into the plastic battery compartment under the lip on the compartment.

b Carefully press the coin-cell battery into the compartment, being careful not to break the plastic.

8Replace the keyboard (see "Replacing the Keyboard" on page 28).

9Replace the hinge cover (see "Replacing the Hinge Cover" on page 26).
