Removing the Consumer Infrared Board

NOTICE: To avoid electrostatic discharge, ground yourself by using a wrist
grounding strap or by periodically touching an unpainted metal surface (such as the
back panel) on the computer.

Follow the instructions in "Before You Begin" on page 9.

Remove the palm rest (see "Palm Rest" on page49).

Remove the two screws securing the consumer infrared board.

Remove the infrared connector cable from the system board.
5
Remove the consumer infrared board by lifting it up.
