Removing the Processor Thermal-Cooling

Assembly

NOTICE: To avoid electrostatic discharge, ground yourself by using a wrist
grounding strap or by periodically touching an unpainted metal surface (such as a
connector on the back of the computer).

Follow the instructions in "Before You Begin" on page 9.

Turn the computer upside down and remove the system board (see
"Removing the System Board" on page76).

Loosen the five captive screws from the thermal-cooling assembly.
