The4H4285‐49isanedge‐networkswitchwith48,10BASE‐T/100BASE‐TXandPoE
compliantports,accessedthroughfixedfrontpanelRJ45connectorsandanoptionslotfor
anetworkexpansionmodule(NEM).Eachofthefixedfrontpanelportscanoperatein
eitherhalf‐duplexorfull‐duplexmodeofoperation.Theduplexmodecanbedetermined
byeitherauto‐negotiationormanualconfiguration.TheDFE‐Goldmodulecanbe
installedinaMatrix N3,N5,N7,orE7chassis.
