AXIS 1440 Network Print Server

Network Connector The AXIS 1440 is designed for 10 Mbps Ethernet networks. It connects to the network via a twisted pair (10BaseT) cable.

Printer Port The AXIS 1440 has a single high-speed parallel connector that connects to the printer’s parallel port.

Test Button The test button is used for:

•Printing a test page to check the connection to the printer.

•Printing the parameter list showing all the AXIS 1440 settings.

•Resetting the AXIS 1440 parameters to factory default values.

Network Indicator The network indicator flashes to indicate network activity.

Power Indicator The power indicator is on while power is on. If it flashes or does not light, there is a problem with the AXIS 1440 or its power supply.
