Appendix A The Test Button

The test button, located on the side of the AXIS 1440, is used for the following:

•Printing a test page to check the connection to the printer.

•Printing the parameter list showing the AXIS 1440 settings.

•Resetting the AXIS 1440 parameters to the factory default settings.

Printing a Test Page After you connect your printer to the AXIS 1440, press the test button once to print a test page. If the test page prints, the parallel interface is functioning correctly.
