Section 9: Management and Configuration
A summary of the services available from the AXIS 1440 Home Page follows:
Click the Configuration link to do the following:
•Change configuration parameters, including the node address and root password. You’ll find a complete list of these parameters in Appendix B - The Parameter List.
•Enable or disable available networking protocols, or modify their operation.
Note: ❏ When you click either Management or Configuration for the first time, you are asked to provide a user name and password. By default these are set to root and pass, respectively.
Caution! ❏ Make sure you consult the network administrator before you make any changes to the network configuration.
You can reset parameter settings to the factory default values from the Management page. You can also view basic information about the AXIS 1440, such as the current software version, Ethernet address, serial number, base URL address, and enabled networking protocols.
Click the Status link to view detailed status of the connected printer ports (for example, number of bytes printed for each print job).
The Account page displays an historical record of print jobs that includes the user, protocol, file size, elapsed time and
