Replacing the Paper Cutter Blade

When the paper cutter blade does not cut cleanly, it may be blunt and require replacement.

wWarning:

Be careful not to cut yourself while replacing the paper cutter.

You can obtain a new cutter blade from Epson (product code C12C815291).

To replace the paper cutter, follow the steps below.

1.Make sure the printer is on.

2.Press Menu to enter the printer’s menu system.

3.Press to highlight CUTTER REPLACE.

4.Press Menu to display EXEC, then press Menu again. The print head moves to the replacement position and OPEN TOP COVER appears on the LCD.

c Caution:

Never move the paper cutter holder by hand; otherwise, damage to your printer may occur.

5.Open the top cover.
