transfer to the printer occurs only after receipt of the ACKNLG signal or when the BUSY signal is LOW.

Data must be present a minimum of 0.5 microseconds before and after a minimum 0.5 microsecond STROBE pulse. BUSY goes high before the end of the STROBE signal and remains high until the end of an ACKNLG pulse of minimum 4 microseconds.
EPSON HP LASERJET EMULATION
Most Epson laser printers have an option to emulate the Hewlett Packard LaserJet printer. Check your user’s guide to determine if your printer has this option, which can be selected from the front panel of the printer.
