Figure 4-36 is a screenshot of the I/O Control Setting Menu. This menu is used to define the settings for controlling the DVR through RS485, and for DVR control of attached PTZ cameras.

RS232
Baud Rate: This field is to set the speed at which is used to transmit instruction or information through the
RS232 port on the DVR. There are eight different speeds: 1200 BPS, 2400 BPS, 4800 BPS, 9600 BPS, 19200 BPS, 38400 BPS, 57600 BPS and 115200 BPS.
