Enter a user name and password to access the recorder. These can be changed in the System section of the Main Menu.

The default user name is “admin”. The default password is “11111111”.

Click on the Login button and you will log in to the recorder’s Network Viewer.

6.2BROWSER SECURITY SETTING

6.2.1Installing ActiveX controls

When you first connect to the DVR’s IP address, you should see a screen like the one below. If you do not see a yellow bar like the one the arrow is pointing at, your security settings may be too high. If so, go to “Section 6.2.2 - Enabling ActiveX Controls.”

Right click on the yellow bar and select “Install This Add-on…”

Install the ePlusDVR.cab file when prompted to do so.
