Windows-based Control Program

The Extron Product Configuration Software (PSC) is a Windows-based program for the DSC that provides a convenient way to configure the input and output, audio, and image settings. It also lets you save and recall presets and perform nearly all the other functions that can be accomplished via the front panel controls or SIS commands. The Product Configuration Software is provided on a disk that is delivered with your DSC unit and can also be downloaded from www.extron.com. To use the software, you must install the program on your PC as described in the following sections.

Installing the Software from the Disk

To install the PSC software from the provided DVD:

1.Insert the Software Products DVD into your computer CD or DVD drive. The disk should start automatically. If it does not, open your Windows Explorer and double- click LAUNCH.EXE on the CD or DVD drive to start it.

2.On the Extron Software DVD screen (shown in figure 29), click the Software link.

3.In the table on the Control Software screen, scroll to locate the PCS for DSC, and click the Install link in the far right column.
