Modem Software Setup for Windows XP

Follow Procedure 2-5to set up the software for Windows XP.

Note: You must not connect the modem to the computer until the procedure tells you. Follow Procedure 2-9 on page 2-35if the modem has been connected to the computer.

Procedure 2-5: Software Setup for Windows XP

1.Start your computer and allow Windows to start-up.

2.Insert the Installation CD into your CD-ROM drive.

•If the CD self starts go to Step 3.

•If the CD doesn’t automatically start, go to Windows Explorer ->CD-ROM Drive -> SETUP.EXE to run the setup program.

3.A “Welcome” message appears. Click Next.
