Right-Side Panel Components

The following is a brief description of your LifeBook notebook’s right-side components.

PC Card Eject Button

The PC Card eject button is used for removing a PC Card from the slot.

PC Card Slot

The PC Card Slot allows you to install a Type I or Type II PC Card. See “PC Cards” on page 79.

Optical Drive Release Button

The optical drive release button opens the optical drive.

Modem (RJ-11) Telephone Jack

The Modem (RJ-11) telephone jack is for attaching a telephone line to the internal multinational 56K modem. See “Modem (RJ-11) Jack” on page 82.
