Before You Remove the Battery…

Note the following items before you begin battery replacement.

CAUTION

•Disconnect power to the D400 before changing the battery.

•Avoid exposure to high temperatures, such as soldering or spot-welding

•Avoid excessive force to terminals

•Use extreme caution and proper procedures for servicing electro statically sensitive components. Electro statically sensitive components are located near the battery.

Note: Removing the battery will cause the internal clock to reset.

Supported Battery Types

The D400 is supplied with a 1/2AA 3.6 V 0.9 Ah Lithium non-rechargeable battery. The following battery types may be used as a replacement.
