Provided you have a clean external power supply, you can connect the power directly to
the instrument, using this accessory, via the RS-232 port on the instrument (as illustrated
in Fig 1-1 on page 9).
The male LEMO-6 (to the right on the illustration above) attaches directly to the
instrument. The female LEMO-6 (to the left on the illustration above) can be used to
attach the instrument to your PC. The other connection is to the transformer (illustrated
to the top) which in turn is connected directly to your power supply.
