C. High Limit Safety Switch

A high limit switch has been installed on this appliance. This switch automatically turns off the appliance if it becomes too hot. If this happens, do not attempt to operate the appliance until it has been examined by a qualifi ed service technician. For the high limit switch location, see Figures 13.2-13.4.

Note to Qualified Service Technician:

The intermittent pilot ignition version of the Geneva Series requires that the limit switch be manually reset if it has shut the appliance off. This is done by fi rst removing the hood to expose the high limit switch. See Figure 28. Push the red button in until you hear a click. The appliance should now be operable. Replace the hood.
