3. Start the engine, allow it to reach its maximum temperature and rotation speed.

4.Engage the blade: press the yellow button [2] located on the top of the blade control lever [1], and at the same time push it quickly and hold it against the handle.

CAUTION:

Move the blade control lever quickly from one end of its travel to the other, so that the blade is always either fully engaged or fully disengaged. This is to avoid stalling the engine and increases the service life of the blade control mechanism.

WARNING :

Always release the blade control lever [3] and the drive clutch lever [4] before starting the engine. Starting is more difficult when the blade is engaged. If the clutch is engaged, the mower will move when the engine is started.

5.Engage mower forward drive when the engine has built up speed: to start the mower moving, push the drive clutch lever [3] forward and hold it against handle.

NOTE: Move the drive clutch lever [3] quickly from one end of its travel to the other, so that the clutch is always either fully engaged or fully disengaged. This avoids stalling the engine and increases the service life of the clutch mechanism.

6. To stop the mower moving, release the drive clutch lever [3].

4.Embrayer la lame : appuyer sur le bouton jaune [2] situé sur le dessus du levier de commande de lame [1], puis le pousser rapidement et le maintenir contre le guidon.

PRÉCAUTION :

Exercer un mouvement rapide et complet sur le levier d’embrayage de lame pour que l’entraînement de la lame soit toujours totalement engagé ou arrêté. Ceci a pour but d’éviter de caler le moteur et permet de prolonger la durée de service du mécanisme de commande de lame.

Toujours relâcher le levier d’embrayage de lame [3] et le levier d’embrayage d’avancement [4] avant de démarrer le moteur. Lorsque l’entraînement de la lame est engagé, le démarrage est moins facile.

5.Embrayer l’avancement de la tondeuse lorsque le moteur a repris son régime :

pour faire avancer la tondeuse, pousser le levier d’embrayage [3] vers l’avant et la maintenir contre le guidon.

NOTE : Exercer un mouvement rapide et complet sur le levier d’embrayage d’avancement [3] pour que l’embrayage soit toujours totalement engagé ou arrêté. Ceci permet de prolonger la durée de service du mécanisme d’embrayage.

6. Pour arrêter l’avancement de la tondeuse, relâcher le levier d’embrayage d’avancement [3].
