SPARK ARRESTER MAINTENANCE (optional part)

WARNING :

If the mower has just been run, the silencer will still be very hot. Allow it to cool down before carrying out this operation.

In some regions, it is prohibited to operate an engine without a spark arrester. Check local regulations before using your mower. A spark arrester is available on option from Honda dealers.

1.Remove the three flange bolts [1] from the muffler protector [2] and remove the muffler protector.

2.Remove the two tapping screws [3] from the spark arrester [4] and remove the spark arrester from the muffler.

3.Check the carbon deposits around the exhaust port and spark arrester. Clean if necessary.

4.Replace the spark arrester if there are any breaks or tears.

5.Install the spark arrester [4] and muffler protector [2] in the reverse order of removal.

ENTRETIEN DU PARE-ÉTINCELLES (pièce en option)

Si la tondeuse vient de fonctionner, le pot d’échappement sera encore très chaud. Le laisser refroidir avant de procéder à cette opération.

Dans certaines régions, il est interdit de faire fonctionner un moteur sans un pare-étincelles. Etudier les réglementations locales avant d’utiliser votre tondeuse. Un pare-étincelles en option est disponible auprès de votre concessionnaire Honda.

1.Retirer les trois vis épaulées [1] du protecteur de pot d’échappement [2] et retirer le protecteur de pot d’échappement.

2.Retirer les deux vis autotaraudeuses [3] du pare-étincelles [4] et retirer le pare-étincelles du pot d’échappement.

3.Vérifier les dépôts de carbone autour de la sortie des gaz d’échappement et du pare-étincelles. Nettoyer si nécessaire.

4.Remplacer le pare-étincelles en cas de cassures ou de déchirures.

5.Réinstaller le pare-étincelles [4], puis le protecteur de pot d’échappement [2].
