BLADE BRAKE CABLE ADJUSTMENT

1.Stop the engine and disconnect the spark plug cap.

2.Release the flywheel brake lever [1] and verify that there is a strong resistance when pulling on the recoil starter.

If not:

3.Measure the distance between the tip of the lever and the handle [2] = 85-95 mm.

4.If adjustment is necessary, loosen the lock nuts [3] and adjust as required. Tighten the lock nuts and check the clearance again.

5.Start the engine and release the blade brake lever. Check that the blade and the engine stop when the lever is released. If not, take the mower to an approved Honda dealer.

CLUTCH CABLE ADJUSTMENT (Self-propelled models only)

Measure the free play [8] on the side of lever [9] as shown.

1.Slacken locknuts [5] using a 10 mm spanner.

2.Screw or unscrew the adjuster [6] to obtain free play between 5 and 10 mm.

3.Retighten the locknuts [5] and recheck the free play [8].

RÉGLAGE DU CÂBLE DE FREIN DE LAME

1.Arrêter le moteur et défaire le capuchon de bougie.

2.Relâcher le levier de frein de lame [1] et vérifier qu’il y a une forte résistance lorsqu’on tire sur le démarreur.

Dans le cas contraire :

3.Mesurer la distance entre l’extrémité du levier et le guidon [2] = 85-95 mm.

4.S’il est nécessaire de procéder à un réglage, desserrer les contre-écrous [3] et détendre le câble ou le retendre selon les nécessités. Resserrer les contre-écrous et revérifier la garde.

5.Mettre le moteur en marche et relâcher le levier de frein de lame. S’assurer que la lame et le moteur s’arrêtent lorsque l’on relâche le levier. Dans le cas contraire, faire vérifier la tondeuse à un concessionnaire agréé Honda.

RÉGLAGE DU CÂBLE D’EMBRAYAGE D’AVANCEMENT (Modèles auto-propulsés seulement)

Mesurer le jeu [8] sur le côté de la manette [9] comme illustré.

1.Desserrer les contre-écrous [5] avec une clé de 10 mm.

2.Visser ou dévisser le tendeur [6] de façon à obtenir un jeu de 5 à 10 mm

3.Resserrer les écrous de blocage [5] et vérifier le jeu [8].
