4.Start the engine in the open air and operate the clutch lever. Check that the clutch engages and disengages correctly.

NOTE: The drive clutch spring [12] is only available for SQE and QXE types.

All models:

NOTE: If the clutch does not engage correctly even when the cable is correctly adjusted, the system may need to be repaired. Take the mower to an approved Honda dealer.

BLADE FITTING AND REMOVAL

BLADE REMOVAL

1.Place the throttle lever in “STOP” position.

2.Tip the mower so that the carburetor faces upwards.

3.Remove the bolt [1] from the blade [2] using a 14 mm socket wrench. Use a wood block to stop the blade rotating when slackening the bolts.

4.Remove the blade [2] from the blade holder [3].

NOTE: Never tip the mower so that the carburetor faces down; this will make starting difficult.

4.Démarrer le moteur à l’extérieur et faire fonctionner la manette d’embrayage. Vérifier que l’embrayage s’engage et se relâche correctement.

1. Mettre la manette de commande des gaz sur “ARRÊT”.

2.Pencher la tondeuse de façon à ce que le carburateur soit orienté vers le haut.

3.Retirer la vis [1] de la lame [2] avec une clé à douille de 14 mm. Utiliser un bloc en bois pour empêcher la lame de tourner lors du desserrage des vis.

4.Retirer la lame [2] du porte-lame [3].

NOTE : Ne jamais incliner la tondeuse de façon à ce que le carburateur soit orienté vers le bas ; il en résulterait un redémarrage difficile.
