Q:Why do I get a wrong answer or the No Solution message when using TVM?

A:Be sure to enter a value for four of the five TVM values before you solve for the fifth, even if one of the values is zero. (Don’t forget to store a zero for Éif you completely pay off a

loan.) Clearing all the TVM registers (]OJ) before entering your known values

accomplishes the same thing. Check to see that the calculator is in the appropriate payment mode (Begin or End mode) and that P/YR is set correctly.
