System Requirements

The hp dvd-writer dvd100i drive is an internal IDE DVD+RW/CD-RW drive with an EIDE-(ATAPI), MMC compliant interface.

The hp dvd-writer dvd100i drive functions on a desktop PC that meets the following minimum guidelines:

Windows 98, Windows 2000 Professional, and Windows Me (Windows NT 4.0 Workstation with SP5 for data storage applications only) (Future – Windows XP Personal and Professional)

Data applications:

Pentium II 450Mhz or equivalent processor

64 MB RAM

DVD video disc creation applications:

Pentium III 800Mhz or equivalent processor

128 MB RAM

video capture capability

hard disk space available

150 MB for included software installation

5 GB for DVD disc creation

An IDE controller with available connector

NOTE: Windows NT 4.0 Server, Windows 2000 Server/Advanced Server, and all versions of Windows CE are not supported.

Mounting

 

 

 

 

The hp dvd-writer dvd100i drive is mountable in either horizontal or vertical

 

configurations.

 

 

 

 

Mounting screws = M3x10mm

 

 

 

 

The mounting screws should not extend into the drive more than 6mm.
