Installing the hp dvd-writer dvd100i Drive

The following information is similar to the QuickStart sheet provided with the hp dvd-writer dvd100i drive.

Inserting Disc 1

1.Turn on your printer and the computer, and start Windows.

2.Insert the CD labeled Software Disc 1 into your CD-ROM drive.

The hp dvd-writer Installation Splash screen appears briefly, then the Installation menu appears (see Figure 14).

NOTE: If Auto Insert Notification is turned on for your CD-ROM drive, the first screen will appear automatically. If Auto Insert Notification is not turned on, click the Start button on the task bar, click Run, type D:\SETUP (where D: is your CD-ROM’s drive letter), then click OK.
