Audio Control for the CD Drive
Using the xmcd Utility
The instructions in the section assume that you are using the
10.20or later operating system with the HP CDE interface. The xmcd utility must also be installed on your system. See the section “Installing the xmcd Utility.”
To load and play an audio CD, follow the steps in this procedure.
1.Load the audio CD. See the section “Loading a CD” in this chapter.
2.Insert the headphone plug into the headphone jack located on the back of your system unit.

3.Click on the Audio icon located on your HP CDE control panel.
