Before the computer is powered on after FRU re ment, make sure all screws, springs, or other small parts, are in place and are not left loose insid computer. Verify this by shaking the computer and tening for rattling sounds. Metallic parts or metal can cause electrical short-circuits.

pack contains small amounts nickel. Do

not disassemble it, throw it into fire or water,

circuit it.

Dispose the battery pack as require

ordinances or

Before removing any FRU, power-off the computer, unplug all power cords from electrical outlets, remo the battery pack, and then disconnect any interco necting cables.

Attention: The system board is sensitive and can b damaged by electronic discharge. Establish persona grounding by touching a ground point with one hand before touching these units. An electrostatic disc (ESD) strap must be used to establish personal grounding.
