
IBM PC Enhanced Diagnostics
The IBM PC Enhanced Diagnostics programs  use a full
range of diagnostic utilities to determine  the operating
condition of the computers hardware components. The
user interface is WaterGate's PC-Doctor which  serves as
the control program for running the  IBM PC Enhanced
Memory Diagnostics and the suite of  diagnostic tests
provided by PC-Doctor.
The IBM PC Enhanced Diagnostics are  available on-line
and can be downloaded from:

This diagnostic diskette includes:
A user interface (WaterGate Software's PC-Doctor)
– This interface serves  as the control program for
running both the IBM PC Enhanced  Memory
Diagnostics and the suite of diagnostic  tests
provided by PC-Doctor.
IBM PC Enhanced Memory Diagnostics
– The memory diagnostic  tests determine which
RIMM pair is defective and report  the sockets
where the failing pair is located. The Memory
diagnostics can run a quick and full test of the
system.
 Note 
Replace the RIMM pair one at  a time to
identify the failing RIMM in the  pair.

Starting the IBM PC Enhanced
Diagnostics Program
To start the program:
1. Shut down and power-off the system.
2. Wait 10 seconds.
3. Insert the IBM PC Enhanced Diagnostics Diskette into
diskette drive A.
4. Power-on the system.
The initial diagnostics menu will be  displayed.
