Changing the Color System and Scanning Mode
You can select the video output to match it to the color system of your TV (NTSC or PAL).
•If you connect a progressive TV through the COMPONENT cords or the HDMI cable, you can enjoy a high quality picture by selecting progressive scanning mode.
•You can change the setting only while playback is stopped.

PAL 576I For a PAL TV. Select “PAL 576P” if PAL 576P you connect a progressive TV through
the COMPONENT jacks.
NTSC 480I For an NTSC TV. Select “NTSC NTSC 480P 480P” if you connect a progressive TV
through the COMPONENT jacks.
