Setting up the Recording Modes
Before recording, select recording modes correctly.
Preparation:
Select “DVD/CD,” “FM,” “AM,” or “AUDIO IN” as the source.
To select file format
Select the file format (MP3 or WMA) for recorded files.

Select the transfer rate for recording.

REC SPEED ENCODE
NORMAL Recorded at the same speed as playback. You can listen to the sound while recording.
HIGH Recorded at up to 4 times normal speed, depending on the file and quality level settings.
To select track mark setting
Only for radio and external equipment: Select how track marks are applied.
•You can divide a continuous recording into several tracks by adding track marks.

TIME Track mark is recorded every 5
MARK minutes.
AUTO Track mark is written when
MARK interval is detected. (You can also record track marks by pressing ENTER/SET.)
