INITIAL SETTINGS

Auto Channel Set/Auto Clock Set

1Press A on the unit or DVD A on the remote control to turn
on the unit. The AUTO SEARCH display appears on the TV
screen.
2Press selection keys to
select AAUTO
SEARCHB, then press
ENTER.
●Auto Channel Set for
digital terrestrial
broadcast (DVB-T) is
performed and the
received digital
terrestrial broadcast
(DVB-T) channels are
stored automatically.
●When Auto Channel Set
is completed, a
broadcast receiving
screen appears.
ATTENTION:
AAUTOB blinks on the front
display panel; do NOT
press any button on the unit
or remote control until the
front display panel shows
clock time, A1B or AcB as illustrated on page 18.
NOTES:
●If there is a power cut, or if you press A or SET UP while AAuto
Set UpB is in progress, AAuto Set UpB will be interrupted. Be sure
to turn off the unit power once and try again from step 1.
●Auto Clock Set may not function properly depending on the
reception condition.

Auto Set Up

After the A button on the unit (or DVD A on the remote
control) is pressed for the first time to turn on the unit, the Auto
Set Up function sets the tuner channels and clock automatically.
Before starting, make sure of the following:
●The TV aerial cable should be connected to the unit.
●The unit’s mains power cord should be connected to a mains
outlet.
●Turn on the TV and select an input mode such as EXT1.
●Slide the TV/DVD switch to DVD.

ATTENTION:
Once you have performed AAuto Set UpB, even if the unit’s
memory backup has expired, all the stored stations and their
channel numbers remain in the unit’s memory and the unit will
not perform AAuto Set UpB again. Perform clock set manually if
the clock has not been set correctly by AAuto Set UpB. (Apg. 66)
If you have moved to a different area, perform each setting as
required.
●Tuner setting (Apg. 64)
●Clock setting (Apg. 66)
If a new station starts broadcasting in your area, perform tuner
setting. (Apg. 64)
After AAuto Set UpB is completed, perform AMonitor SetB on
page 19.
