Als de batterij lekt (of een kwalijke geur verspreidt), verwijder deze dan meteen uit de buurt van brandhaarden. Elektrolyt dat uit een batterij lekt kan makkelijk vlam vatten en kan de batterij doen roken of in brand doen vliegen.

•Geen abnormale batterij gebruiken!

Als de batterij een kwalijke geur verspreidt, verkleurd of vervormd is of er om een andere reden niet normaal uitziet, haal deze dan uit de oplader of uit het apparaat en gebruik de batterij niet. De batterij kan hitte of rook produceren, scheuren of in brand vliegen.
