Votre fournisseur peut activer diverses fonctions de l’émetteur- récepteur qui n’exigent aucune intervention supplémentaire de votre part.

TEMPORISATEUR D’ARRÊT (TOT)

Le temporisateur d’arrêt permet d’éviter qu’un utilisateur émette sur un canal pendant une période prolongée.

Si vous émettez en continu pendant une période qui dépasse la durée programmée (défaut = 60 secondes), l’émetteur-récepteur cesse d’émettre et une tonalité d’alerte se fait entendre. Pour interrompre la tonalité, relâchez le commutateur PTT.

Si elle a été programmée par votre fournisseur, une tonalité de préavertissement se fait entendre avant l’échéance du temporisateur. De plus, il est possible que vous deviez attendre un court laps de temps avant de reprendre votre émission, si votre fournisseur a ainsi programmé votre émetteur-récepteur. Si vous appuyez sur le commutateur PTT avant la réinitialisation du temporisateur d’arrêt, une tonalité d’alerte se fait entendre et l’émetteur-récepteur ne peut passer en mode d’émission.

ÉCONOMISEUR D’ÉNERGIE

L’Économiseur d’énergie réduit l’alimentation lorsqu’aucun signal n’est reçu et qu’aucune opération n’est effectuée (c.-à-d. aucune touche n’est appuyée et aucune commande n’est tournée).

L’Économiseur d’énergie est activé lorsque le canal demeure inoccupé et qu’aucune opération n’est effectuée pendant une période de 10 secondes. L’Économiseur d’énergie est désactivé dès la réception d’un signal ou l’exécution d’une opération.
