OPERACIÓN DE VOX

La operación VOX puede ser activada o desactivada por el distribuidor.

La operación VOX permite transmitir a manos libres. Esta característica puede utilizarse solamente con un casco auricular compatible.

Antes de poder operar VOX se debe establecer la Ganancia de VOX. Este ajuste permite al transceptor reconocer niveles de sonido. Si el micrófono es demasiado sensible, comenzará a transmitir cuando haya ruido de fondo. Si no es suficientemente sensible, no detectará su voz cuando comience a hablar. Asegúrese de ajustar la Ganancia de VOX a una sensibilidad apropiada para una transmisión sin inconvenientes.

Para activar VOX y establecer la Ganancia de VOX, realice los pasos siguientes:

1Conecte el casco auricular al transceptor.

•La función VOX no se activará si no hay un casco auricular conectado al terminal de accesorios del transceptor.

2Con el transceptor apagado, pulse y mantenga la tecla Lado 1 por 2 segundos mientras enciende el transceptor.

•El diodo parpadea en rojo y verde.

3Pulse la tecla Lado 1 para incrementar la Ganancia de VOX y la tecla Lado 2 para reducirla.

•Las opciones para ajustar la Ganancia de VOX son 1 a 10 y Desactivada.

4Mientras ajusta la ganancia, hable por el micrófono del casco auricular como lo haría durante la operación normal, para probar la sensibilidad.

•Cuando el micrófono reconoce un sonido, el diodo se enciende en anaranjado. Esto permite que se determine una ganancia adecuada con la que el ruido de fondo no active la operación de VOX pero que hablar por el micrófono sí lo haga.

•El transceptor no transmitirá su voz durante este procedimiento de prueba.
