SCRAMBLER

Met de QT- en DQT-functies (pagina 22) kunt u ongewenste oproepen slechts negeren, maar met de Scrambler bent u ervan verzekerd dat uw gesprekken privé zijn. Wanneer de Scrambler is ingeschakeld, kunnen eventuele anderen die naar uw kanaal luisteren uw gesprek niet verstaan. De transceiver vervormt uw stem zodat iemand die naar uw gesprek luistert niet kan verstaan wat u zegt.

Om uw oproep te kunnen verstaan terwijl u de Scrambler gebruikt, moeten de andere leden in uw groep ook de Scrambler hebben ingeschakeld op hun transceivers. Hiermee wordt iedereens stem vervormd tijdens het zenden en weer hersteld wanneer u een bericht ontvangt op uw eigen transceiver.

Om de Scrambler in te schakelen, drukt u op de toets waaronder de Scrambler is geprogrammeerd.

Om de Scrambler uit te schakelen, drukt u nogmaals op de Scrambler toets.

Opmerking: Er zijn 2 mogelijkheden voor het gebruiken van de Scrambler. Uw dealer kan de ingebouwde Scrambler in- of uitschakelen, of kan een nog veiligere, optionele scrambler-kaart in uw transceiver inbouwen. Vraag uw dealer voor verdere informatie.
