Cleaning the glass scanning areas

The scanner is designed to be maintenance free. However, it must be cleaned occasionally to ensure optimum image quality and performance.

1. Moisten a lint-free cloth with isopropyl alcohol (95%).

WARNING: Isopropyl alcohol is a flammable liquid.

CAUTION: Do not use isopropyl alcohol around open flame or on hot surfaces. Avoid vigorous rubbing; use gentle contact.

Isopropyl alcohol may cause eye irritation and dry skin.

For additional information, contact your isopropyl alcohol supplier.
