Resetting the Network Function

Re-boot only the network function to enable the newly set parameter values.

zThis function will not reset the copier or controller. Should you wish to reset the copier or controller, turn off the main power supply, wait at least ten seconds, then reboot the power.

To reset the Network function, follow these steps:

2 At the bottom of the page, type in the system password in the provided field.

3 Click the Reset option box. The following dialog box will appear:

The Unit is now being reset. Allow 2 minutes before reconnecting.

4 Wait two minutes, then reconnect.

Restoring the Factory Defaults

This feature allows you to switch all settings on the network function back to their factory default (initial) set- tings. Use this feature when operating a copier in a new environment to clear all settings values. Note that the serial number and the MAC address of the network function will not be cleared.

Should you wish to restore Web Server’s factory default settings, follow these steps:

1 Open the Reset page.

2 At the bottom of the page, type in the system password in the provided field.

3 Click the Restore Factory Defaults option box.
