Starting the VIVID 9i

[Operating Procedure]

1 Set the power switch to ON (“ ”).

Power will be supplied to the VIVID 9i and initial setup is performed. After several dozen seconds,

POWER

“PLEASE OPEN LASER BARRIER AND PRESS ANY KEY” will be displayed on the viewfinder.

Note

When turning power ON again after it has been turned OFF, wait at least 5 seconds before doing so. Failure to observe this may result in malfunction or breakdown of the VIVID 9i.

Memo

To ensure precise measurement, allow the unit to warm up for at least 10 minutes.
