Field Calibration

The field calibration on this unit is done using the Field Calibration System.

Periodic field calibration is recommended to maintain measurement precision.

Note

•Always carry out field calibration when changing lenses.

•The Field Calibration System that corresponds to the type of lens the unit is equipped with must be used when con- ducting field calibration.

•This unit and the Field Calibration System are paired, so it is not possible to correctly calibrate it when the serial numbers differ. Use the unit and Field Calibration System combination that have the same serial number.

Memo

The type of lens the unit is equipped with and the serial number of the unit can be confirmed in the Status information.

Field Calibration System

The Field Calibration System is comprised of the Unit Section which contains the Field Calibration System, which corresponds to the type of lens on the unit, and the Frame Section, which maintains a facing position at a set distance from the unit.
