	Step	Description

1.Main Menu: Tools...\Format Memory Device.

2.TOOLS Format Memory Device <Memory Device: CF Card>

	<Format Method: Format Quick>
	Select the memory device to be formatted.
	By activating the format command all data will be lost. Make sure that all
) important data on the CompactFlash card has been backed up before
	formatting the card. Before formatting the internal memory make sure that
	all important data is first transferred to the PC.
	To exit the screen without formatting the memory device, press ESC. This
) returns to the previous screen without execution of any command.
3.	CONT (F1).
4.	YES (F4) to complete the formatting of the CompactFlash card.
	NO (F6) to abort the formatting of the CompactFlash card and return to
) TOOLS Format Memory Device.

5.Once the formatting of the CompactFlash card is completed the system returns to TPS1200 Main Menu.
