Youcanadjustthesoundlevelofthebuilt-inspeakersbyusingthefollowingthreebuttons:
1Microphonemute
2Volumecontrolbutton
3Speakermutebutton
Ifyoumutethesoundandthenturnoffyourcomputer,thesoundwillremainmutedwhenyouturnonyour
computeragain.Toturnonthesound,presstheplus(+)orminus(-)button.
Settingthevolume
Eachdevicehasvolumecontrols,whichyoucanset.
Toopenthewindowforadjustingtheoutputvolumeortherecordingvolume,dothefollowing:
1.ClickStart➙ControlPanel➙HardwareandSound➙Sound.TheSoundwindowappears.
2.ClickthePlaybacktaborRecordingtab,andthenclickadevice,whichyouwanttocustomize.
3.ClickthePropertiesbutton.
4.ClicktheLevelstab,andthenchangethevolumebymovingtheslider.

•Youcanalsogetaccesstothedesktopvolumecontrolbyusingthevolumeiconinthetaskbaratthe
lowerrightofthescreen.T oopentheV olumeControlwindow,clickthevolumeicon.Tocontrolthe
