Attachinganexternalmonitor

Yourcomputercansupportamaximumvideoresolutionofupto1366x768(withanexternalmonitor
attachedtotheMiniDisplayPortconnector),providedthattheexternalmonitoralsosupportsthatresolution.
Formoredetails,refertothemanualsprovidedwithyourmonitor.
Youcansetanyresolutionforeitherthecomputerdisplayortheexternalmonitor.Whenyouusebothat
thesametime,theresolutionofbothisthesame.Ifyousetahigherresolutionforthecomputerdisplay,
youcanseeonlypartofthescreenatatime.Youcanseeotherpartsbymovingtheimagewiththe
TrackPointoranotherpointingdevice.
Youcanmovethedisplayoutputtothecomputerdisplay,theexternalmonitor,orbothintheDisplay
Settingswindow.
Connectinganexternalmonitor
Toattachanexternalmonitor,doasfollows:
1.Connecttheexternalmonitortothemonitorconnector;thenconnectthemonitort oanelectricaloutlet
2.T urnontheexternalmonitor.
3.ChangethedisplayoutputlocationbypressingFn+F7.Thisallowsyoutoswitchbetweenviewing
outputontheexternaldisplay,thecomputerdisplay,andbothdisplays.
