Maximizingbatterylife
Tomaximizethelifeofthebattery,dothefollowing:
•Usethebatteryuntilthechargeiscompletelydepleted,untilthebatterystatusindicatorstartsblinking
orange.
•Rechargethebatterycompletelybeforeusingit.Thebatteryisfullychargedifthebatteryindicatorshows
greenwhentheacpoweradapterispluggedin.
•Foranewbatteryorabatterythatyouhavenotusedrecently,dooneofthefollowing:
1.Rechargethebatterycomplet elybeforeusingit.Thebatteryisfullychargedwhentheacpower
adapterispluggedinandthebatteryindicatorisgreen.
2.Usethebatteryuntilthechargeiscompletelydeplet ed,whichmeansusethebatteryuntilthebattery
statusindicatorstartsblinkingorange.
•Alwaysusepowermanagementfeaturessuchaspowermodes,screenblank,sleep,andhibernation.
