The control solution test follows the normal test procedure, using control solution instead of blood.
Step 1: Turn on the meter.
The code number, time, and date will appear. The code number should match the code number on the test strip vial.

Step 2: Insert a test strip.
When INSERT CODE 10 (for exam- ple) STRIP appears, slide a test strip into the test strip holder, notched end first with the test spot facing up. Make sure you push the test strip in all the way until it stops.
