Step 3: Apply control solution.
After the test strip is in the test strip holder, WAIT PLEASE appears for a moment, then APPLY SAMPLE appears. Shake the control solution vial well before removing the cap and adding a drop of control solution to the middle of the test spot, covering it completely.
