Remote control settings

When you connect a remote control receiver unit (purchased separately) to the REMOTE CONTROL IN terminal of this unit, use the following procedure to disable the remote sensor function of this unit.

The remote sensor function of remote control signals is enabled by default.

SURROUND MODE ENTER

nnEnabling the remote sensor function

1 To disable the remote signal sensor function, press and hold SURROUND MODE and STATUS for 3 seconds.

“IR:< DISABLE >” is displayed.

2 Press o p to select “ENABLE”.

3 Press ENTER.

The sensor function of the remote control signal of this unit is enabled.

Switching the on-screen display output mode

Set whether the menu is operated by the monitor connected to the VIDEO OUT terminal or the monitor connected to the COMPONENT VIDEO MONITOR OUT terminal.

• The factory setting is “Comp”.

NOTE

If a remote control receiver unit (purchased separately) is not connected, do not perform this setting. If you do, you will not be able to operate this unit using the remote control.

1 Press and hold STATUS and PURE DIRECT for 3 seconds.

Corresponding to the video signal format settings,

“OSD Out: 0 Comp 1” or “OSD Out: 0Video 1” is shown in the display.

2 Press u i to change the settings according to the connection method.
